Leaderboard liquidity pool
The leaderboard is at the heart of the Score & Earn mechanism and tokenomic model, serving as the leaderboard liquidity pool. The goal of this pool is to increase in valuation over the course of the week, thanks to the growing number of players feeding the pool with all OCTOKN spendings on Game FI elements and systems.
The leaderboard pool can also be filled by Octo's own liquidity, which serves to kickstart and boost the total volume. Given the short-term nature of hypercasual games, the pool increases only over the course of one week and will be dedicated to only one leaderboard game per week, so as to quickly reward players.

Participating in the Game of the Week Leaderboard is easy and exciting! Here's how to get started:
Play the current game of the week: To participate in the leaderboard, simply play the current game of the week. The game can be found in the ‘Game of the Week’ section within the Octo app.
Get the highest score: Players are ranked based on their best score of the week. So, give your best shot and try to reach the highest score possible.
Any size bets are accepted: There are no restrictions on the size of the bet. Players can participate with any bet size they prefer.
Track your progress: You can keep track of your progress and your rank on the leaderboard throughout the week.
Get rewarded: At the end of the week, the top 50% of the players on the leaderboard will get rewarded.
Claim your reward: To claim your reward, go to the ‘Reward Collection’ tab, located at the top center of the screen. Players will need to have a wallet created or imported within the Octo app to claim their reward.
No SOL needed: Players do not need to have SOL to claim their OTK. Octo Gaming will handle the fees and ensure a smooth reward claim process.
