The Leaderboard ranks users based on their best score on the weekly game.
Every week, the leaderboard rank is based on a new game and scores are reinitialized.
Players try every week to get to the highest score, based on their skills, because the highest the rank is, the more rewards the player gets.
The leaderboard score rewards will be essentially based in OCTOKN, but sometimes players can get additional physical goods from Octo Gaming's partners, NFTs, diamonds, XP and many more.
Leaderboard liquidity pool
The Leaderboard is at the center of the Score & Earn mechanism and tokenomic model.
It serves mainly as the Leaderboard liquidity Pool.
The Leaderboard Pool is intended to grow in valuation over the week thanks to the increasing number of players feeding the pool, with all OCTOKN spendings on Game FI Elements and Systems.
The Leaderboard Pool can be filled by OCTO own liquidity to kickstart and boost the total volume.
Given the very short-term nature of hypercasual games, the pool increases only over one week and will be dedicated only for one Leaderboard game per week, in order to quickly reward players.

It's true that strongest players are the ones that will benefit the most this skill based model. That's why we incorporated 4 ways of being rewarded without being good at games.
A small percentage of the pool will get allocated to reward randomly low leaderboard scores, as long as you are active during the week and met the requirements
By holding an Octo NFT and being ranked in the leaderboard during the week, even low, you will get automatically a percentage of the pool as a passive earning
Playing with an Octo NFT gives you chances to get Diamonds NFTs at the end of a game. The percentage of chance of getting diamonds is based on the CHANCE of your Octo NFT
